Today's Big Idea: Inside Employers' Minds
After taking the pulse of employers around the world to learn what was on their minds in 2012, Mercer launced an initiative to help organizations understand and address their most pressing issues and concerns. This is the second installment in "Inside Employers' Minds: Confronting Critical Workforce Challenges," a new series created by Big Think in partnership with Mercer.
So what do 21st century employers need to do in order to remain competitive? First, they need principled leadership and values. They also need vision, and the ability to communicate it to their employees and the world. But most importantly, they need to be able to engage in a little critical self-reflection.
