Inventing the Future

Thursday’s Big Idea

Today's Big Idea: Technik

A new era requires a new vocabulary. In their new book Hybrid Reality: Thriving in the Emerging Human-Technology Civilization, Parag and Ayesha Khanna explore the frontier of the information revolution, or what they call 'The Hybrid Age.'

So "whether the future is a dystopian global class struggle over technology or a Pax Technologica of transparency," the Khannas argue that "access and equity will depend on spreading Technology Quotient, or TQ, above all else."
