Today's Core Skill: Innovating For The Future

The future is upon us and the old way of doing business is no longer sustainable. In an increasingly interconnected and fast-paced world, everyone from individuals to large established companies (or "dinosaurs," as Vijay Vaitheeswaran calls them) must learn to innovate in new ways or they risk extinction. 

Today, four Big Think experts will teach us about the heart of innovation as it is today. There are new ways for students to learn and teachers to teach. There are fresh ideas coming from the most impoverished corners of the earth. And large firms that seem immovable can learn a few lessons from small firms that can challenge and forever change the way industry giants do business.
