Re: Are there are too many people in the world? What should we do about it?

I have always had strong feeling on this issue. I beleive we have a reluctance to commit to population control because of our morals. We are taught "thou shalt not kill", although I am not religious, this is a fairly good rule to go by. In essence, population control is killing people, or at least, not giving them the chance to be born. I do beleive that something must be done, looking at the chang in population and the health of the planet over the last 50 years, I can only shudder at what the next few decades will bring.
