another option to avoid catastrophic failure of the business is look for a company to buy, find a buyer, or consolidate with another business in the same or related field. By doing this, redundancy of jobs and efforts can be achieved and the best of the employees can be retained for the future. With this solution the business will not only survive but prosper

Thinking of business in the larger terms is great. But the day to grind is where the rubber meets the road. Yes you have got to have the passion. You have got to have the expertise in the business that you pursue, but most of all you must have cash flow.It doesn't matter what you dream, educate yourself for, invest all of your money in................unless you have cash flow. You can have the answer to the energy crisis and/or global warming, but if you can't cash flow, your business will fail.

Since I posted this topic about a year and a half ago, I have joined Facebook, and Twitter. I still see misinformation rampant in these media, but have softened my former uneducated judgement of this subject. I cannot condone lying ............ ever, but do see the subject as more grey than black and white. If I found the need to lie to participate in a public discussion, I think I would refrain from participating. I do see the amount of personal information available through the internet as a potential issue going forward. More education needs to be made available to the people accessing these social networking sites. I think there should be an agreement written in understandable language that the info you post will be available to search engines. I still think many of these social networking sites are for egocentric personalities. I don't think I need to post about my daily movements or thoughts. I do however find them very useful in keeping in touch with distant family and friends.
