I agree mostly with what Moby said about the industry. I do think though however that as more of these labels develop, it does not always mean that better music quality is coming out. With more labels and artists signing to those labels, there would be more room for them to make music, not necessarily better because if they get dropped, they can always look for another label to sign and put out the same quality music as they did before. I do agree with Moby that signing with these labels would not be about the money but more about their own passion of music. I think that record labels right now are banking on the artists that have no amazing talent now but more of the could be talent that he or she might have in the future. I think though a lot record labels is a good thing that that for the music industry to be on the incline again, some of these barely alive labels to close down and allow the big ones to listen to individuals talent in a demo CD and work on a talent development with that person to make sure that person reaches his or her potential.
