How is the bible much different than an old fiction novel (novels still, pertain to actual facts of the time which they were written)?

The Bible is unlike any fiction or non-fiction because it is resemblant of Truth, and as humans we cannot perfectly understand nor describe Truth.

Truth in itself is unlike fact. Fact is perception. Truth is something intangible, unknowable. We seek it through the Bible, but we are still unsure of it.

The Bible is a culmination of not only God’s revelation to Man, but also of human thought and prophecy. We may say that direct revelation (that is, the true Word of God) is perfect Truth. Our documentation of the Truth is askew.

I’m with Monco on this one, no difference.

All books are a description of Life. All books have knowledge.
