DIY Tax Cuts

So the administration wants to cut taxes all the time. Here's my solution: everyone should deduct a certain percentage (1%?) of their taxes, and keep that money. This gives the government incentive to save money and gives the Right their tax cuts, but this way Everyone can benefit. I would make ALL campaign contributions illegal immediately, and forbid any campaigning (speeches, press releases, etc) by incumbents until 6mos. before the elections. TV networks use the speeches as content and charge advertisers as they do now. I'm all for free speech, so for the candidates that's all they should be allowed.
