To Pastor Jennifer:Re Post by Me(jamiepup) on Cohen's site. My only post.

As I was saying, it is the only post by me (jamiepup) so I hope you found it.Last I looked, it was at the top.  It is text only.  As I re-read it, I felt I should share my feelings with you.  Take 'em or leave 'em.  My sense is that you already KNOW all of this, but sometimes, a gentle reminder helps a lot.  No offense intended.  I'm not saying to either of you that you don't have a right to a point of you and Lord knows, I agree with both of you.  I just thought he's done enough harm, why allow him to give him more power by stealing your sereniy.Peace,Michael … Read More

musycks -I completely understand your anger. But the truth is, he is not going to change. You, however, have the power to change, and while he's not being hurt by your posts - your well-being is being compromised by this schmuck. So you really want to give him that much power over you? I don't think so. Believe me, his time will come. If you believe in karma, it won't be pleasant. So, try to let it go - hard and cliche-like as that sounds - who's more important? He's not going to stop or change. But you can and should for your own peace of mind. You're giving that away, and what's worse is that you're giving it away to him. Think about it, anyway. Just don't want to see more people suffer at his hands. And your anger, disgust, and wishing things were different than they are make you suffer. Don't allow it. Enough. For your liberation from him, let it go.

Buddhism and Death and Dying

Hello friends.I am a newcomer and have a statement which is also a question...  I've noticed in the last five years of practicing Buddhism and studying Dharma that there isn't a lot said about death or the dying process.  That's the statement. The question is: does anyone have any insight into why this might be so?  Also, if you've found something, would you be kind enough to let me know?  I find Buddhism most healing and am in the throes of a terminal illness.  But, as we know, there are many sources of wisdom and I'd appreciate anything (preferably audio) that addresses the process of dying/death or what might happen after we leave this earth.I'm not looking for opinions so much as sources and responses will be appreciated and rewarded with karma.  Where do you think the ubiquitous saying "what goes around comes around" originated?  When you think of it, it's a strange saying, but not at all when considered within the context of karma.Peace, Michael … Read More
