The legacy of George Bush, Jr is a straight forward vindication of the policies pursued by George Bush, Sr, during his tenure. And a rebuff to the American electorate on its taunt of 'its the economy, stupid' which put paid to Sr.'s 'second term' chances.

He may have been “brave” invading Iraq (as I remember he was never himself in harms way) but he was also stupid. I think res ipsa loquitur on that one. And similar to Henry V? I don’t think so. Dissolute drunken youth aside, Henry V is best remembered for a stunning victory (Agincourt) against a better equipped larger army, whereas George W declared victory against a third world country (but 6 years later we are still there).
