When a Christian womens group's topic turned to spanking and so many supported it by citing the bible, I quit the group. They were so sure of their intrepretation of the bible. I think God would have called them a hiprocrite.Maybe he mean it when it read spare the rod spoil the child. Maybe he wanted the rod spared. I am still a Christian, but as for groups, beyond prayer groups or working groups for the poor-I'll stay out of other groups with their human intrepretation of the holy book and striking out at innocents.

Mr. Jindal seems like a wise person. I wish the University all the best. Pro Bono work by the students/lawyers can also help people who couldn't afford access to a lawyer. I believe the Law is intimidating to an average citizen, most people try to do right and often dismayed and confused when faced with a situation; having lawyers will help the citizens.

Ms. Palin is not a candidate, nor a governor. Her best effort would be, in my opinion, behind the scenes- writing books, maybe heading committees. She is becoming a face in the entertainment circuit. An entertainer- politician is not appealing. There are serious issues in politics where citizens needs need focus.
