Why is it so hard for people who should know better to fail to see that Law , for the last 2000 years or so, has had certain implications, and that “International Law” does not meet the criteria? It is not based on commonly agreed on principles of Law, it is not impartial, it is not enforced by any standing body, and the Vigilante gangs that take it up have vested interests which are selfish. So of course, it gets no respect, and can’t solve any problems, just sweep them under the rug for awhile. There are of course,International Agreements (Treaties) which may be unilaterally rejected at any time without any legal penalty, because there are no legal penalties for any important people. Until we face the fact that Genocide is not illegal, it will continue to happen. That’s the price of “Sovereignty”. disigny
