I agree completely. As a specific example we could compare the female literacy rate in less developed parts of India with the more developed southern province Kerala. Kerala’s female literacy rate is far higher than any other province.
There is a direct correlation between quality of life and the empowered status of the female population. Education affords status. Status affords power. Statistically the more educated a woman is the fewer children she will have. Therefore education, specifically that of women, can prevent overpopulation among many societal ills.
