Joseph Mifsud commented on Why is America in denial about the origins of the world's anti American bias? on March 9, 2008, 8:58 PM
Americans have been made too comfortable. Why think about whats right and wrong, when we can be told? I can have Domino's delivered to my door in 30-minutes, just in time to rot my body and wash my mind with the detergent that is television, all at once. Many Americans are content with that kind of lifestyle. So as long as the Dominos keeps coming, and the television keeps working, why would we want to get up and ask questions? Why ask questions when we can be told?We can be told the illegal immigrants are the problem, not that we wanted those jobs anyway. Al-Queda hate us because we are Americans, not because of our lackluster history in the middle east. Those explanations put no blame on Americans. Just how we like to hear it.

I do not think the entire world is going to come together at one time. I feel like it is far more likely for a few nations to implement their own solutions to the problems of the world hoping that other nations will follow.I can not think of a reason why they would follow, but I suppose if I knew that... the whole issue would not be too much of a problem.

We should get off oil. Ethanol may offer some answers but does not look like a complete solution. Not even close.

Try telling that to your boss when you're late to work.
I work, I play, I learn, I listen, I create art. I am a US citizen.
