This whole argument lost any kind of validity as soon as you said "Anglo" and made this a racial argument.....

What other terrorist groups did Saddam tie himself to?

This is an absurd argument, the true question is there any accountability in the intel departments for making mistakes? Bluffing is fine in diplomacy, but if you're going to call the bluff you better be right.
Is there any connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda or WMD's?
I am very interested in the "Jus ad Bellum" or "justice in going to war" aspect of diplomacy and international conflict. Have we found WMD's or made a connection between Saddam's Baath party and Al Qaeda? I have not heard of any connection being verified, but a good portion of America still believes we have found the evidence to legitimize the war. Why? Interesting poll to back up the "portion of America" comment -> http://www.harrisinteractive.com/harris_poll/index.asp?PID=684 … Read More

Joseph Jaunich commented on What's unsettling about Sarah Palin? on September 10, 2008, 7:49 AM
I think what may be unsettling about her is the fact that if McCain up and dies (which is feasable) she could be our next president. I don't think many people are worried about her as vice-president because of the limited role she would have (hopefully unlike Cheney), but I know I've had some foreboding as well. I don't necessarily have deep convictions against her, but I am surely scared of the scenario described above.
