it (the USA) will be seen as an age of devolution where we retreated to fear, hate and very little reasoning. while the leadership did all they could to develop this for their personal/group benefit and wealth.

The "spread of democracy" is pointless, its not working. Sure things may sound good coming out of the tube, but good god we have funded islamic fascist dictators, then invaded their third world counrty.
