I had many unfortunate things go wrong in my childhood. One of these things even directed me down the path of attempted suicide. I thank GOD that my plan did not pan out. But, these events did have a major impact on who I am today. I was a scared, victimized child, but I am a strong person today. I have a husband of 19 years and four adopted children, all of whom have at some point fallen victim to abuse. I believe that I am strong enough today to help my children become the strong adults that they will need to be tomorrow!!!
