This is an example of a genetic fallacy, to say that you can explain how something came to be (religon) proves something else (a particular religon) is false is not proving the tenents or events in a certain religion to be true.

Yes I can see now that I was being pretty generic and all over the place. So are the electrons stationary, cloud-like, or what? Why does gravity cause things to spin (like the earth around the sun) instead of eventually just sucking everything in (like the sun does to a nearby comet or anything else)

love is beyond attraction, it is seeing that God has placed a beauty in everything, beyond sexual attraction, emotional attachment, etc. Photographers grasp this by acknowleding that anything can be an interesting picture taken from a different angle or lighting....

Atheists could learn a lot from Carl Jung... something I think jennifer was hitting on there for a minute... it was hard to pin down exactly what Jung believed but he was def. accepting of others beliefs and even saw lack of a belief as determental... he def. wasnt a fundamentalist, but on the other hand i dont think he would bode well with the "new atheism"
