Thanks for coming Jeff, In the beginning folks were using electronic communication as an outlet, a place to voice their opionion right or wrong. Some one else could make offending remarks and it became an argument culture. Then thanks to people like yourself, folks figured out that if they quit trying to exert themselves so much, they could learn from each other. You guys did a good job of coaching in the background. The nasty people did not go away. They learned over time that there was no real gain in being nasty or overly aggressive. It is funny, I joined the ranks of the unemployed graphic design team this year. I kind of like it. It gives me time to work on community projects. I have been watching and learning about folks communicating on the web. I think they have a strong yerning to be together. Our combination of suburban sprawl and non physical communication has started to make them strive for more friendship. This summer I am going to make my move and post up a butt kicking community web site where I am asking folks in my community to come out of their homes and start living again. I plan to knock on doors and invite folks to the local park and ask them to log on to their community site. I will set up a forum where they discuss their ideas of recreating a physical community. Then I will need to taunt them into following through. I think if I can get a crowd at the local park having cookouts with there families, they will capture the beauty in it and won’t turn back. I think they are ready, and I think I have the tools to do it. If I can coheres them into planning weekend outings i have done my job. I just need to get that crowd there one time so they can see it. I will knock their stupid door down before I give up on them. Tim Hall he’s tall that’s all Tim Hall
