In a word, YES. Scientology is dangerous. When you take a look at the inner workings, it's hard not to be concerned at this new phenomenon. The fact that it is primarily an opportunity for the wealthy to purchase power is still over-shadowed by the fact that before creating Scientology L. Ron Hubbard was known to have said that creating religion is the easiest way to get rich quick. How does that not just shatter the integrity of the whole operation? In theory, almost all faiths should be able to co-exist. Take a look at most mainstream religions. Most have a core belief in letting people believe whatever they want because all paths will converge into one. Even Christianity, though it teaches that Christ is the only path to God, speaks of loving all men and women unconditionally. The only problem is, it is all in theory. It's like communism. It sounds great on paper but when you put anyone behind the wheel you almost undoubtedly will get a chaotic result. Not to say we are inherently evil, but the race of man has a long history of succumbing to pride. Too many times has the pride of a ruler or an important figure shattered the hope of coexistence.
