I like Mr. Tyroler’s list, but let me add some more: The Band (& Bob Dylan), Depeche Mode, Neil Young (& Crazy Horse), Nick Cave (& The Bad Seeds), Radiohead, The Who, Otis Redding (& the people from Stax), Muddy Waters, The Animals, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.

I totally agreed. They are all great bands. To mention a few but the last on my list including Led Zeppelin, Queen, Tears for Fears, The Police, Suede, Allman Brothers Band, Eagles, REO Speedwagon, Santana, The Doors, Styx, ELO, The Smiths, etc.
