There is a little known phenomenon occuring in our world today, known to those who experience it as the 11:11 Phenomenon. It happens to you if your attention is consistently drawn to these numbers, most often on clocks, but also on receipts, license plates, mobile phones, vcr's, and other various places we see numbers. At first, it seems coincidental to be looking at the clock right at 11:11, but soon enough these people realize that it is happening too often to be coincidence. It's almost as if something outside themselves is nudging them to look up at the clock, even when they don't really care what time it is.
The internet has allow many of these people to share ideas and has created a whole network of different people from all over the world, many of whom have different ideas as to what it means. There are blogs, chats, websites, forums, articles, and much discussion over these experiences. Many report seeing 11 minutes past any given hour, in the same fashion, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day.
The explanations are as varied as the people who come up with them. Some 11'ers, as they're called, believe it is a message from angels, others believe it is a pre-encoded DNA trigger in thier cellular memory banks, calling them to "wake-up" to a new reality. Skeptics have voiced that the phenemenon is entirely psychological, and that these people are simply encountering an easily recognizable pattern in daily life. Most, however, remain baffled as to an explanation. The number 11 itself is steeped in mystery and intrigue throughout history.
What do you think?

James1111,
I am not aware of this phenomenon.
I interpret it as mass-coincidental occurrences, because there is no way for any human to discern with certainty what it means, if anything, beyond eventuality.
Relating it to Revelations is also problematic, as we are left with having to have faith (safe-thinking) that Revelations is actually prophetic, and correctly interpreted.
I do find it interesting as an exercise in imagination, without being decisive based on such.

This clearly just has to do with the symetry of the number pattern that tends to atract atention. And probably with the significance of 1 the singularity.
People notice it for the same reason that the trrafick lights always seem to be red. We tend to notice things more that agrivate, or exite us in some manner. And of course after one gets the idea in his/her head they probably make a subcontious effort to look up at the clock at those particular times, and pay even more atention to licence plates with 1111. And of course theres also pure conditioning, once you are usd to looking up at the clock at 11 minutes past the hour it becomes a habit, purley impulsive.

I think, at best, if such a thing were even true it would only serve to prove that we’re creatures of habit. True or not, obsessing over it can’t be good for anybody.

Another thing i notice 13 all the time. Seems to me that i always look at the clock at 13 minutes past the hour. But in relity its because 13 is conected with bad luck and when i was younger i was more supersticios and now notice the number more then othesr, not because its more frequesnt. But it really seems that way, seems like i see it al the time. The fact is we see what we want to see, an see significance were we want to see it.

Well sir i did an experiment, since i thought about the 13 thing i noticed it about 30 times a few days ago. All it is is that i got the idea in my hea and every time i noticed it it registered more. No more frequeent or significant then anything else.

Considering that my friends and I, there are three of us, all started seeing 11:11 at different times and with no prompting from the others I think it may be more to it than coincidental occurrences. Other people we point this out to never seem to start to see it. We didn’t even know we all saw it until we were all over at one house and all noticed that we looked at the clock at 11:11pm. Then we started talking about it and saw that we all had been seein it for some time. We’re not religous or into cult end of the world thinking, but it is odd some see some you can show and they never seem to. So being one of the thousands who see this I’m inclined to think it’s true. Don’t have any ideal about what it all means though.
