When I went to go live with my father I moved into a Kosher vegetarian household. This diet actually made me very sick and weak. I have never been able to put the healthy weight I had before this diet. I am not the only one that has found that vegetarian diets are not good for me. I have known two other people with this problem. They even worked with doctors and just could not maintain that diet. It may be good for some people but others bodies begin to break down. If you put these laws into effect you are literally handing some people a death sentence. This is not a fear this is a fact.

I have been a vegetarian for nine years, not to say for my health, but for the injustice done to food animals. I have found that many people are afraid of animal rights activists, orgazinations, and just the thought of change. I changed completely from animal flesh to vegetarian, and now I know I can never go back as the desire for those foods has gone. Anyone can do it, they just have to have compassion for the animals, and to care about oneself's health.

Response to the first comment on vegetarianism: "If you put these laws into effect you are literally handing some people a death sentence." Oh please.-Overreact much? I've been vegetarian for 23 years, vegan for 12 of those years, I don't take vitamins or supplements, and I'm not dead yet… When will my death sentence kick in, when I'm 90 years old?
Vegetarianism doesn't have to be scary. One's diet needn't be an all-or-nothing situation. If you feel you must eat animals for your health, simply lower your consumption… Have it once or twice a week instead of every meal and your health will likely improve, and you'll save some unnecessary animal suffering and help the environment to boot.
