Started two experiments, will continue if you comment on “Imagine God Evolving”.

Side note: one experiment will also double as part of Lent.

Sorry, Nameless, I succumbed to a moment of weakness. I failed you and Jesus in one shot. I’m starting over again.
Some great news, I’ve kept my daily exercise routine and my 3 and half year old daughter, has joined me the last two days. Getting back in shape, bounding with my daughter, and teaching her a valuable lesson early in life. Exercise should be as natural as breathing.

That’s excellent Healingzero – if your children can learn to do 10-minutes of exercise every day they’ll probably be able to do it for life!

My favorite word is DISCIPLINE, not the spanking kind, it’s about building your daily training with positive rituals and exercises :-)

(My daily discipline is about 2-hours long, filled with Yoga, Wun Yuen (like Tai-Chi), Martial Arts, Meditation and Reading)

Life is great!

During your two hour daily ritual are you free from all suffering?
Because of your daily rituals, can you say that you are free from suffering for atleast 730 hours every year?

At my current level of awareness I would say my Life is less than 1% suffering. Once you realise that all events are neutral and that the meaning of life is learning and evolution then there is nothing that can be considered “suffering”. Whenever I do suffer it’s from ignorance and misunderstanding how the event occurred, so when that happens I instantly start meditating and writing to understand the Cause & Effect relationships in play.

Through daily training and discipline (physical, psychological and spiritual) comes increased levels of awareness, from awareness comes understanding, from understanding you transmute all negatives into positives.

I recommend all of Stuart Wilde’s books, starting with “The Force”, they’re quite cheap so just invest in yourself and buy them all from www.whitedoveinternational.com

The process of cutting away all the negative parts of your personality is commonly called “The Perfection/Refinement of The Ego” or “The Killing/Death of The Ego”. This process is culturally Universal and is symbolical in any Myth which the Hero dies and is reborn. Saint George killing a Dragon – it’s not a real dragon, it’s a myth about killing the Ego, killing the seven deadly sins – Greed, Lust, Pride, Jealousy, Sloth, Gluttony and Anger.

Samael Aun Weor in his book “The Great Rebellion” gives a great introduction to the Ego refinement/killing process. Sometimes you benefit more by reading ONE PAGE over and over for 30-minutes than zooming through a book at top speed just so that you can add it to your resume hehehe

Started reducing the ego about five years ago, seriously over the past two years. I see how it completely alters your life and the lives of the people around you. It has improved all my relationships, from family, to friends, to the community, nature and my pets, and even my art.
My major problem is distraction. I call it the devil and distraction. I often slip into episodes of being easily distracted. Sometimes it lasts hours, other times, days, and at the worst of times, months. But atleast I’ve named my demons. I don’t hide from them, and I try not to use them as excuses.
I will start reading the Tao Te Ching, first.
I believe in the classics.

Most translations of the Tao Te Ching are wrong (roughly about 2 out of 50 versions are good).

I recommend:

The Gate of All Marvelous Things: A Guide to Reading the Tao Te Ching, by Gregory C. Richter.

Spend one week on each chapter, each chapter is about one page long hahah ;-)

Not to criticize your preference in literature. But i read one of Wildes books, and i must say in my eyes it has very little true substance. And was most likley writen for the purpouse of making money and not enlightenment.

I am glad that you are happy most of the time. Which is mor then i have to say for myself. But in all honesty i think you would have developed this outlook anyway as part of your personality, without any need for Wilde.

Unless you do some kind of physical, psychological and spiritual training every day then your opinion and judgements are not based on any of your own experiences.

If you continue to gather information without applying it you won’t be able to tell BS from gold.

Well heres the thing lets say for a second that wildes spiritual, psychological stuff works. If i tell my self every day that “universe is infinetly abundant” "all my needs are fulfiled " and all that stuff. Even it worked, i would need to belive it in order for it to work. But i just cant fool myself into thinking it works, so even if i stand infront of the mirror and tell myself all this stuff it wont make a difference because i wold not belive any of it. Exiperimenting for me would be problematic. (meditation i think is beneficial though, clearing your mind does help, i speak from experience, so im thinking into doing that more regularily)

I really dont get why 10 daly exersise would be more beneficial then 2 hours 3 times a week. When i work out i like to do a full routine, run, lift, maby swim, and go to the steam room. Doing 20 pushups does not do anything for me, (and since you are a practicall man, yes i did do this for a time when i was yonge, didnt do much for me, so my current routine i find works best). I think that different things just work better or certain people.

And another quik question. (hope its not too personal) Were you very unhappy at a point in your life, people dont usually read Wilde and other self help books just for fun. (i did it for a class btw)

He’s not all about therapy and self-help, if you read more of his books you’ll realize that – try reading “The Force”. I also think it is important to have ‘unhappy’ momments in your life – unhappiness triggers the desire for change and evolution. If you take away unhappiness you take away evolution.

For example: If you hate your job but your family is happy do you pretend to be happy just to satisfy them? OR do you instigate a career change and seek another level of happiness?

"If i tell my self every day that “universe is infinetly abundant” "all my needs are fulfiled " and all that stuff. Even it worked, i would need to belive it in order for it to work. "
- You are 100% correct that is why you need to build an affirmation unique for you at this present time. Then you might change it later when you reach that level, and again.. and again…

But you must stick with one affirmation for at least a year or two before you can move on.

For example: If you want money then every morning you would say and feel: “I attract wealth and opportunities wherever I go and all that I pull to me is for my highest evolution and growth, I am powerful”… After doing this daily for at least a month you’ll notice that you will be aware of more opportunities and instead of losing confidence during a negotiation your new thought pattern takes over subconsciously with “I am powerful, I am in control”… so naturally your filter of the same reality and your reaction to that filter has now changed.

Likwise if yo want to have sex with good looking women, your daily affirmation reinforces your beliefs and you do not lose confidence before closing the deal ;-)

But books are just words words words blah blah blah… unless you apply them. That is why I recommend martial arts, dancing, acting, writing, music, meditating, etc… so you can apply all books in your weekly activities.

Yes i see your point about unique and personal affirmations. But no matte what i chose every time i say it to myself in the mirror, i would have to stop myself from laughing. The problem is not the affirmation but the fact that i dont belive that the exersise itself has any effect. And it really is a paradox, because if i was to observe it working i may change my mind, but in order for it to work i already need to belive it.

Wow mate you really hit the spot with the good loking women thing. Almost made me run right up to the mirror and try it. I think you have caught onto the way i think.

Skeptic44 –

I have no doubt you’re going to achieve everything you dream of doing.

Follow your HEART, Feel your HEART, Listen to your HEART and whenever it misses a beat or changes pace be aware of the cause. Upon awareness of the negative behaviours of the HEART then we can stab them with our swords and banish them into the fires of oblivion.

Awareness is the goal of all things.
