Well, I think that there is a lot of charity and goodwill that falls under the radar because it isn’t as dramatic and interesting as the juicy stories if evil and corruption.

One of my favorite quotes was said by Mahatma Ghandi “We must be the change we want to see in the world.”

Just do what you know is right it is all you can do, don’t let the state of things discourage you.

Greed, plain and simple. Whether it’s taking billions of dollars from corrupt defence contracts or governments stealing from any foreign aid, greed is often the underlying cause.

In the United States, we have CEOs with 8 figure salaries and other people sleeping at bus stops. Our government is no longer a government for the average citizen. The wealthy are getting richer and the poor, who cannot afford to make donations to politicians or have lobbyists speaking up for them in Congress.

Military contractors are basically stealing from the government (no bid contacts, no oversight, billions of dollars unaccounted for, etc.

For a nation that supposedly makes each citizen equal, we seem to getting farther away from that idea.

I feel the biggest problem is people not taking responsibility for there own actions. To say " I did this because its what everyone else is doing" is just wrong. If you think its the wrong thing to do then don’t do it. reguardless of pear pressure. when you make a mistake (which you will, cause your human.)stand up and say it.I made a mistake, now how do I fix it.
I really believe if people would do this, instead of spending there time trying to shift the blame on society or pear pressure.most evil would disappear. Sure some bad things would still happen. but make the person responsible liable for there actions. don’t allow them to shift the blame.
(example) Sadam dumped untold gallons of oil on earth,he set oil well of different country on fire, he killed many of his own people. Hold him liable for these crimes, don’t invent something else like WMD’s. Bush took us to war with Iraq under false pretense (WMD’s) hold him liable for that.
