Question: If you were an Iraqi, how would you view America?
Mitt Romney:I would be grateful and appreciative that American soldiers have surged their support such that the Iraqis themselves are now able to rid themselves of the peril of Al Qaeda. The last thing I think any society wants is to have Al Qaeda or Taliban type leadership, or Hezbollah ruling the day in their country. And that’s of course what was happening in Afghanistan. It is something which has become part of the landscape in Iraq in the most recent few years. And our effort has helped the Sunnis reject that violence and that extreme. And if I were an Iraqi citizen, I would be appreciative of that.

I would probably want to tie a bomb to my chest and blow something up.
Seriously though, how do you think they judge us? We stormed their country and destroyed their stability. So again, I would probably want to blow myself up in the name of America.

Wow, if this doesn't disqualify Mitt from being president. He's got the exact rose tinted glasses Bush had.
Have you considered the fact that Iraq wasn't given to suicide bombing or Islamic fanaticism while Saddam was in power? How about that Americans first greeted Iraq with airstrikes that left hundreds of thousands of civilians dead? Do you think that the average Iraqi would just shrug off that the Americans killed one of their friends or relatives, and be thankful regardless?
Imagine the US being invaded by some foreign country, because the world agreed Americans are incapable of selecting a responsible leader, and that America could no longer be trusted with owning the world's largest stockpile of WMDs. How would young men react here? Wouldn't many American citizens risk their lives to protect America from "occupiers"?
Or would people be "thankful"?
Ridiculous.

Harshly, Imagine if you lost a family member or friend as a result from invasion from another country. Even if was not directly from their bullets or bombs. You would be pissed off forever regardless of what high principles or justifications the invaders have it will never bring that loved one back from the grave. The US has enough problems hear in America to deal with. It hipocritical to pretend to try and solve the rest of the worlds problems when you can't or don't want to deal with real problems we have hear at home. Its all apart of the big chess game to control the world's oil and see that those who have power maintain their power. Greed pure and simple.

Nobody should be surprised by his answer. Obviously there is an agenda here. Romney is a product of the American Republican party and his response is a consequence of this. In fact he is not necessarily retarded for saying he would be appreciative of the american invasion into his homeland because to say otherwise would pretty much go against the entire republican mantra and screw himself over. Mitt Romney is retarded for for agreeing to answer this question.

The Americans arrived in Iraq, killed (hundreds of) thousands of civilians, destroyed families (which are so important to President Bush) and transformed the country into a battlefield. And you Iraqi people are still not grateful?! I guess that means you a probably "against us" anyway (to use another Bush phrase) so we either kill you or send you to Guantanamo… What a blessing!

I can't believe Iraq hasn't sent us a "Thank You" card yet. We should invade a country who would be more grateful…like Iran.
