I know that this is an extreme but it seems little different to any other supernatural: claim

God rains gold dust on congregations, bestows rare gems on them and, in some cases, indulges in dentistry. There are people in the US who actually believe this stuff. Is it any wonder that reason simply washes over them?
This stuff is far from the retreated god of the Anglican Church but in essence it is the same to me. Faith is exposed for what it is.

So…In order to enter the “kingdom”, one must behave in a naive and childlike manner?

Herbie,
The jewels falling from the sky makes sense when you think of the greedy vs. getting to heaven dilemma. If god gave them wealth or made it happen then they were not being greedy and are deserving of a seat at the big table.
Apostle Paul made it quiet clear that the wealthy would not have a seat at the big table no matter their loyalty to his majesty. This has always been a thorn in their side. I am sure that Paul’s statement had quiet an impact on religious governing. I would go as far Left as saying that Real-estate (the thought of owning one’s personal piece of earth) comes out of the theory that god or gods helped me when the war, therefore the said property now belongs to me by the hand of god.
If one can imagine a world without real-estate, one could grasp how much easier it would be to correct social problems by making it even more important that folks live as a balanced community. The gift of god’s own piece of earth through our labors or any other early fascist governing claims is what makes it so difficult to find real solutions to education equality. Real-Estate is the largest god given gem in the rough.

Maybe there is an underlying cause to this effect. Surely, if God were behind it there would have to be a reason for it. Maybe he wants this division? And if not God, perhaps the Liz King? Maybe he wants division?
Perhaps both of them were striving for unification?
