Islamism

(Arabic: al-'islāmiyya) is a term that denotes a set of political ideologies holding that Islam is not only a religion but also a political system, the teachings of which should be preeminent in all facets of society. Islamism holds that Muslims must return to earlier models of Islam by introducing sharia, or Islamic law, into modern society. Islamism often espouses pan-Islamic political unity.

Islamism also often asserts that western military, economic, political, social, or cultural influences in the Muslim world are un-Islamic and should be replaced by purely Islamic influences.

An Islamist is a person who holds a set of political ideologies holding that Islam is not only a religion but also a political system.

and notice how the debate degenerates into superficialites like appearance?
I’ll get worried about Muslim women wearing the hijab, when those people get upset about a catholic nun in a penguin suit.

and the hijab causes those people to lack the vitamins the SUN provides for us free of charge!
