Two games, which flew off the shelves last Christmas season, are based on technology that reads brain waves, similar to electroencephalograph—or EEG—machines used to diagnose brain disorders." The breakthrough came when the company NeuroSky found how to make EEG technology, whose machines cost $20,000 each for hospital use, into hardware affordable for the average consumer.
