Google Predicts Search Results

"Google has announced that it will begin to roll out 'Instant' search results around the world." The Telegraph reports on the Internet giant's innovation in search technology.

“Google searches will now predict what users are looking for from the moment they start typing, the company announced. As internet users begin a word, Google’s homepage will move instantly to a page of results that is updated as each letter is typed. Google, which currently answers 1 billion search queries per day, described the move as a ‘fundamental change’ that will save the world’s internet users a combined 11 seconds per hour, or 111 days per year. The update has been trailed over the past two days with ‘Google Doodles’ on the company’s homepage.”
