"Google searches will now predict what users are looking for from the moment they start typing, the company announced. As internet users begin a word, Google’s homepage will move instantly to a page of results that is updated as each letter is typed. Google, which currently answers 1 billion search queries per day, described the move as a 'fundamental change' that will save the world’s internet users a combined 11 seconds per hour, or 111 days per year. The update has been trailed over the past two days with 'Google Doodles' on the company's homepage."
