Is the United States complacent? Why are we one of the few industrialized nations without universal health care? Why does the top 1% have more than the "bottom" 90%? Why do we sit back and allow this to happen? We have the ability to make major changes to our lives, our communities, our countries, and our world – why don't we make some effort?

Howard Zinn will be remembered by those who know, as he wished to be remembered. The only trouble is not enough people know of his existence or his courageous writings.
