That is ridiculous laptops don't just quit working they do slow down but not on purpose you don't think a geek somewhere wouldn't have already found that out and if so it couldn't be kept quiet

i believe the planet will balance itself out if it passes the limit be it a natural disaster or result of such a large population

i wouldn't worry about it there have been so many times in history when civilizations thought the world would end and it hasn't happened yet. Take for example the year 1000 all of Europe thought the world would end so no one planted any crops when the world didn't end there wasn't very much food. we shouldn't make a big deal about it
Woolly Mammoth's can be found frozen in the polar areas. Theoretically you could take the DNA from the Woolly Mammoth and use it to create a a Woolly Mammoth in a Indian elephant. why couldn't you make socks that are waterproof and breathable like a waterproof shell with classic sock cloth on the inside
