Lovely, twee little story. Too bad the song he claims to have sung in the cages (he was interned so wouldn’t have been on the wing) wasn’t even written or released until 1979. He was in prison from 1973-1977 &1978. But sure, this is the man that was never in the IRA, so it is in keeping with what we expect from him. Which isn’t the truth, but a lovely little happy ending story. The Big Think = The Big Whopper
