FERNANDO F. commented on David Chang On Genetically-Modified Food on October 28, 2008, 1:55 AM

Oh my God... was this guy paid 50 bucks to lie on this site? he is twitching and scratching his face as soon as he starts "spinning" info without knowing anything about the subject. He even says that genetically modified food is good for the environment. Is not because if the neighbour's farm wants a traditional farm, he won't be able to do it since his crops will be 'contaminate' by the altered food. Monsanto suit a farm because they were selling products affected (by the bees I assume) by the Monsanto fields, and they argue that the farmer was stealing their technology.... and they won!!! amazing.

FERNANDO F. commented on Kishore Mahbubani: Is it fair to ask developing countries to go green? on October 8, 2008, 7:21 PM

there should be an organism, managed by experts in Eco-friendly technology, looking everywhere for green technology, and moving it to developing countries as fast as possible in the cheapest way. No royalties, no bureaucracy. If there is an idea in Chile, and it can be put in practise in Ghana, and then distribute to the entire region, it should be done. There is no time to waist in study after study. Implementing an idea (on a small scale) is the best teacher, the best way to learn from mistakes.

FERNANDO F. commented on Azar Nafisi: Which Presidential candidate would deal with Iran best? on June 3, 2008, 11:16 PM

I basically agree with everything Azar Nafisi says. The main thing she says is "dialogue is not compromise". We need more dialogue with Iran. We need more dialogue with the Palestinians. They will like to return to their ancestral lands and live side by side with the Jewish people, as they live all these years. Now we need to get rid of the Politicians (I mean push them outside the discussion room), and let the people decide what do they want. People in nature just want peace. Politicians want to gain something. Could be power or recognition or just looking for their people disregarding their neighbours well being.

Eliminate the Numbered Accounts because they promote corruption

In many countries, when people in power start to have control of vast amounts of money, they learn pretty fast that making deposits without giving name or personal information looks pretty safe. Appears to be so easy that they will move as much money as possible, while the country they say they love does worst and worst.  … Read More
