Teresa Amabile, is co-author of “The Progress Principle” and a Harvard Business School Professor, who has studied the psychology of everyday work life: how events in the work environment influence creativity, motivation and performance.  

Teresa’s research explores how seemingly mundane workday events can make or break employees’ “inner work lives,” and how removing obstacles to progress, including meaningless tasks and toxic relationships, are key to employee engagement and job satisfaction (and can sometimes be even more powerful motivators than monetary rewards).
