Luc Bovens

Professor of Philosophy, London School of Economics

Luc Bovens is a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he teaches in the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics program. He has held previous appointments in the University of Colorado at Boulder (1990-2003) and in the London School of Economics and Political Science (2004-2017). His main areas of research are moral and political philosophy, philosophy of economics, philosophy of public policy, Bayesian epistemology, rational choice theory, and voting theory. Bovens is the author of Coping: A Philosophical Guide (OpenBook Publishers, 2021).
