Jochen Mundinger

Founder, routeRANK

Jochen Mundinger is founder and Chairman of routeRANK. He graduated with a Bachelor's in mathematics with computer science from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. He obtained his M.Phil. in Statistical Science and his Ph.D. at the Statistical Laboratory, Cambridge, and was a senior researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) before starting routeRANK. routeRANK is a travel site which allows users to search various methods of travel to a destination not only by travel time and cost but also helps users select the most environmentally friendly route. He has received numerous awards and was recognized in Technology Review's TR35 as one of the world’s top innovators under the age of 35 for routeRANK’s travel planning technology and product.

Mundinger is a Big Think Delphi Fellow.
