Danny Strong is an actor and screenwriter who received an Emmy nomination for Recount, about the 2000 election. His latest film is the controversial and highly anticipated HBO film Game Change, which premieres on March 10th at 9pm EST.

The film is taken from the last chapters of the book Game Change by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. The story follows John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, beginning with his selection of Sarah Palin as his VP and through the election as they begin to see her lack of knowledge and they watch her start to unravel. Julianne Moore portrays Palin, Ed Harris is McCain, and Woody Harrelson plays senior advisor to McCain, Steve Schmidt.
