Charles Bock

Charles Bock is author of the best-selling novel "Beautiful Children" (2008). The New York Times Book Review, in a six-page spread, described it as having "an almost Dickensian amplitude," and the Washington Post praised his "simple honesty."  Additionally, Bock has published short fiction in Esquire Magazine and launched the "Beautiful Children Music Project" on MySpace, which he hopes will inspire bands to compose songs based on their favorite books.  Bock obtained an M.F.A. in Fiction and Literature from Bennington College.
