I wonder how we would be different if we were less concerned with race…if we weren’t concerned at all.
When I saw that I wonder, I’m saying I really have almost no idea what it would be like to live in a society that wasn’t concerned with race.

Those who were obsessing about “Race” in the past may be forgiven, because biological knowledge was primitive or non-existent.  But what is the excuse now for even using this terribly misleading, spin containing term?  All human are of the same race, there is only one.  But as to culture, or ethnicity, they vary as widely as do individuals, or better, “breeds” of dogs.  It is not at all wrong say to that dachshunds are not “equal” to great danes, etc.  The real question is, is there any truth to stereotypes, or rather , generalizations about “cultures”?  Let anyone who doubts it read Tacitus on “Germania” , an informative and amusing description of"Germans" of 2000 years ago, news to the Romans, but quite familiar to us.  Since the Germans were not slaves, etc.  It shouldn’t insult them..our conversations are not going to make things better if they are based on pretenses.
