Much of what he says is true, but the conclusion is incomprehensible. Israel can never prove that it is “not interested in taking other people’s territory”. They certainly do need to “frame the issues differently” . Amen to that. What everyone wants in the area to have Peace and Security, but that can never happen when everyone has their own “State” , especially when there are mutually overlapping claims of “Sovereignty”. The only possible way to resolve this is for an outside power to gurantee Justice for all concerned. But that requires that there be such an Outside Power which can be seen to be fair and representing the interests of all. So far, no such entity has been even proposed. The idea of the US or Europe or the UN filling that role is almost laughable. Ergo , we need to invent such a Body. A rudimentary world government, based on law is the only practical way to make it work. Without that, Israel has about the same prospects as the original (“Winning”) Crusaders did 1000 years ago, i.e. none. disigny
