Question: What is a question people should be asking themselves?
Deepak Chopra: There are many questions which people should be asking themselves. They should ask themselves, Who am I? What do I want? What’s my purpose? What’s my passion? What’s the contribution I want to make to the world? What are my peek experiences and why? What are my unique talents? Have I expressed them? How do I use them to service the needs of my fellow human beings? Who are my heroes in history, in mythology and religion, and why? In other words, what archetypal stories that stimulate my imagination and make me aspire to an idealist vision? What are the qualities that I look for in a good friend? What are the qualities I express in my relationships?
I think if you ask these questions, then somehow nature conspires to move you to the answers.
I would say to every person, that Deepak Chopra is a reflection of where they are in their own evolution. There’s a poem of Rumi’s--Define me and label me, and you starve yourself of yourself. Nail me down in a box with poor words, and that box will be a coffin, because I don’t know who I am, or maybe I’m your own voice, reflecting off the world.

I have always been driven by questions. I believe we need questions. Answers are only brief stops on the way to the next question. It is with questions of ourselves that we evolve. The lifetime of listening is the true human adventure.

Indeed, it is the questions that drive mankind and have since the beginning of time….without questions what would life as we know it be? Who would WE be? It never ceases to amaze me and fill me with wonderment how the universe/God hands us answers to these questions, yet so often our inner eye fails to "see".
