As a gay male, I seperate myself from the "Community" for the simple fact of SHAME! The gay community claims that they are being painted in a bad light, but when in reality they themselves those the paint. Whenever you see "gay" on television or in so called pride events, they are the most absurd display of disgust you can view, nelly flambouyant queens, prissing arund like they are some screen actress form the 20's. How can anyone take the gay community seriously when they are laughable? Where are the true gay representation? The average joe that wears mens clothes, aren't obsessed with designer labels, who likes sports, trucks and being a man? Stop pretending your in the circus and act normal and people will stop seeing you as side show freaks! I'm not ashamed of being gay, I'm ashamed of being stereotyped with the other 80% of the gay males.

i see your point but people that express thenselves that way they are just using their freedom to be who they want to be, i think it's about respect. I am gay, no crazy for designer brads, no a drag queen either … but i love them. You have not just see them, if you actually talk to them you will see that they have something to say

Thank-you for your video. If we aren’t busy shaking-off the hegemonic sludge of an historical administration, we are trying to diffuse a nations barrel-cured xenophobia.

I live in Northern California where gay rights are being threatened by the Yes ON 8 campaign. I am a married Caucasian woman who feels a gay marriage is no threat to a heterosexual marriage. The Yes ON 8 campaign feels that 7% of gay population is bringing down the institution of marriage when in fact most marriages end due to an affair with someone of the opposite sex.
The YES ON 8 folk seem to have taken a Sharpie and marked out the scripture at 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 where it says, “Do not be misled, neither fornicators (those that had sex before they are married) and adulterers will not inherit the Kingdom of God.” It goes on to include homosexuals. So the heteosexuals who imgagine they are “saved” are not! LOL
If all the churches read this entire scripture to it’s members, they would lose a huge following of racist, misogynistic and homophobic people that give them 10% of their income so that they can imagine they will have a front row seat in heaven. These people would turn on their churches if they told them to keep their legs crossed and how to have relational boundaries. So the churches make a big deal about the small fraction of a population of people who have no desire to associate with their narrow minds anyway, let alone throw away their money to some “man of God” to spend. I see such hypocrisy here.
I have a fatherless friend who was raped by a Bishop as a little boy in the Mormon Church. My friend is gay and the Bishop said he was sorry for molesting him and continues on serving God. My friend was excommunicated for coming out of the closet.
What is wrong with that picture? It seems to me the Bishop should have been excommunicated for not only raping children but cheating on his wife. Churches are a wonderful place for heterosexual sexual deviants to hide out. Men of God feel sorry for the perpetrators and detest their victims. Then if they turn out to be gay, they hate them even more. All I can say this is a prime example of false religion.
