As an employee at a large enterprise company, i’m pretty dismayed by how separate management and employees tend to be. Sometimes it does feel like the movie “Office Space.”  Truly as though management is not hearing the griefs of what could be an excellent support team and in fact, those that actual execute their visions.

I have to say that we are over analyzing matters and trying to be complex!

How about we just do what makes sense? If the pay is good, people can go on without a bonus. If the pay is pay is not the best in the market, then you sure need to give employees a bonus, it is as simple as that.

I just do not buy this study, the analogy is way off!!!  like locking someone up or give him/her a bonus???  or when people opt for a general pay-cut instead of 20% lay-offs, that is true but when you see executives of same company making 20-50 millions dollar bonuses, you know you are better off in a different company.

This speaker needs to get a real job at a real company (not at school) before he talks about this subject.
