Clarity is power.

Admittedly, the distinction between "power to …" and "power over …" is not always clear and distinct, which makes being clear about the extent of my power necessary for taking responsibility for the consequences of my choices and actions, and for gauging complicity in acts of wrongdoing committed by those who would not (or could not) be clear.
