Calvin Trillin used to be funny. This, I hate to say, is not the entertaining guy I used to see on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson back in the 1970's . . . but then it has been over thirty years since then. I was just expecting something closer to the wit he used to exhibit back then. Sorry to be a non-mensch.
