I'd be very interested to hear him talk more about the evolution of marketing and the impact of technology. Particuarlly I wonder what is thoughts are on using platforms like YouTube or something like ExpoTV? Here video is used and consumers have freedom to say whatever they want to about those brands. Web 2.0 has had some really interesting implications for marketers.

Cooley talks about global collaboration, but I still see language barriers as big problems - particaurlly in the places where there are the largest emerging markets like China and India. The vast majority of people in those countries do not speak English. I think that our school systems should focus more heavily on langauge training for those regions.

I'm not convinced that ethics can be taught in schools. Rather, I beleive that they are instilled at a much, much younger age by important people in your life - most notably your parents. By the time people are in business school all they can really learn is what happens if they do go and break the rules.

Julie, I think that government already does regulate compensation through the tax bracket system. In this case government has the ability (somewhat) to flatten wages and help scale back income inequality. And as for income regulation similar to that of AIG, in that case the government had bought a large stake of the company, and as an over-active stakeholder (representing the people of the US) I think that they did the right move.
