I agree with rtway on his point. Even legal shorting is detrimental to the market. It is a bet against the company and the market and brings about many nefarious deals. At present if a company has a flaw it will be shorted. With no such thing as shorting maybe the investor will go long, fix the company and profit.

You are very wrong about it not being about religion. This religion, Islam, is about killing non-believers, honor killings, pushing isreal in the sea, and killing americans. Some of these may be written in the Koran, like killing of nonbelievers, but all are part of the religion. Not PC but this I see as the truth. Search Aayan Hirsi Ali here and hear what she has to say. Also her book Infidel is a good read. Co2 levels are not the problem with global warming. It seems to be a lagging indicator. There is a lot of flawed data out there. Good source for this is michaelcrichton.com or his book "state of fear" which is fiction.
