This is a new site and not everything is going to work as it should. And, there'll be a lot of things that should be here that aren't. At least not yet. We're looking for your input on how to make the Big Think work better because, like everything on the site, improvement is interactive. Over the next few months, we will be updating and tweaking the site based on your feedback. So, get to it!

I completely agree on the comment length. I wasn’t sure if the official launch would have more, so I didn’t wasn’t sure if I should bring it up.

Thanks Smallville and aamesxdavid. Here’s our logic: Commenting allows you to make a quick observation on a discussion without getting into the fray. Responding puts you squarely in the middle of it.

If the comment length were too long, it would be less like a conversation and more like a lecture.
