This topic is something i've been thinking of for awhile. Now I know we don't have enough evidence to suggest that our human life is situated on another planet galaxies away however it is very possible. What if there was another planet out there which populated our exact selves as we are today, right now, but either in the past or in the future. Also how long will it take for us to explore further galaxies to find out if such life exists?

Intelligent life certainly isn’t limited to this planet alone. Not to mention our enormous galaxy. You seem to be implying that there are alternate dimensions. Where people live in similar conditions as our own. Some are more primitive that others but there are possibly even more advanced civilizations than our own.
If that is what you are attempting to ask then i would say, sure that is a completely feasible idea. There can be alternate versions of our selves out side this world. Similar to Buddhist reincarnation, and the idea souls* or spirits* in general. *(the extra-dimensional energy that occupies the same space and time as our own body)
Nonetheless, there is consistent evidence that supports the very idea of life on planets in our own Milky Way galaxy. Exhibit one; Cydonia, a city on Mars that has equal representation to the Egyptian monuments of Giza. Exhibit two; several moons orbiting Saturn and Jupiter contain water, (hydrogen & oxygen) along with the two planets themselves.
If you already possessed this knowledge i apologize for patronizing. The sad truth is, the vast majority of this world is consumed in false interpretation, special interests, and radical belief.
